DEAD QUIET

Stay quiet. They hear everything.

DEAD QUIET is an extraction shooter set in a small German town after the outbreak: loot Kaltenbrück, keep the infected at bay and get your loot out – before other operators get you.

The Game

After the outbreak, everything went quiet.

A pathogen from the Helix Labs has wiped out Kaltenbrück. Whoever is still alive heads into the exclusion zone for loot. DEAD QUIET combines the harshness of an extraction shooter with hordes of infected that react to every sound. And with other players who want exactly what you want.

Extraction

Get in. Loot. Get out.

Every raid starts with what you bring. Die, and you lose your gear. Make it to an exit, and you keep everything. Between raids you trade with the quartermaster, take on contracts and rebuild your weapons in the gunsmith.

  • Several exits, some only open for a while
  • Traders, contracts and loyalty
  • Gunsmith with attachments and sights

Locations

Four maps. One nightmare.

From the streets and fields around Kaltenbrück to deep underground. Every map has its own exits, its own dangers and its own infected.

Kaltenbrück

A small town with a regional airport, an army base above the Helix Labs and Station Mitte below the market square. Plus forests, fields and a river. Beyond the exits lies a minefield.

Helix Labs – In-game scene
Research complex

Helix Labs

The underground lab where it all began. An atrium with a sample tank, containment cells, a data centre. Blackouts and lockdown alarms.

Station Mitte – In-game scene
Subway

Station Mitte

An abandoned two-level subway station with dark tunnels. Between minute 10 and 14 a train pulls in. It's loud, but it's also a ticket out.

Exclusion zone

Sperrzone Ost

Almost a square kilometre of restricted area with a small town, an army post, a river, fields, forest and a motorway. Big enough to never meet anyone.

Infected

Seven ways to die.

They don't see well, but they hear everything. Learn whom you can take out silently, whom you should run from, and whom you'd better not wake at all.

They don't come back.

The infected don't respawn during a raid. Everyone you take down stays down. But whoever dies of the infection gets back up.

Build your weapon.

From oil-filter suppressors to 8× scopes. Every weapon has working iron sights, its own magazines and attachments you buy from traders or find in raids. Without maintenance, weapons and suppressors wear out.
